This is my MA course assessment work, a simple 2D extraction shooter inspired by film Annihilation. 

Intro

  Following the impact of a meteorite, a restricted zone has been completely transformed by unknown radiation and alien mineral contamination. The private development company D.D. has deployed armed forces to occupy the core area in an attempt to extract high-value new materials; and you, as an agent dispatched by a special agency, must venture deep into the exclusion zone before they do, to recover samples, locate the source of radiation, and investigate the truth behind the spread of the mutation.

  In this ever-twisting region, plants, animals, and even humans themselves may be reshaped. You must enter this perilous zone with limited supplies, gathering resources and intelligence whilst navigating a path between mutated creatures and D.D.’s armed patrols, and successfully evacuate before the contamination consumes you. Every entry is a step closer to the unknown; every evacuation brings back not only spoils of war, but also traces of this region.
